Andrea Howson

Andrea Howson is an acrylic artist based in Belwood, Ontario, where the beauty of the countryside inspires much of her work. Art has always been a way for her to express emotions and ideas that words can’t quite capture. While her early work focused on the human form, she has since turned her attention to the vibrant energy of wildlife, particularly owls and cows, along with other creatures found in the world around her.

Colour plays a key role in her paintings, chosen instinctively to convey emotion and life. Through her use of colour, Andrea brings her subjects to life, creating an immediate connection with the viewer and inviting them to experience the natural world in a fresh way.
