Strathmore Recognized for Product Innovation

Strathmore Artist Papers was awarded supplier finalist for the 2013 Art Business Innovation Awards at the Art Materials World trade show and convention held in Minneapolis May 1-3, 2013. We received the award for our new product introduction – 400 Series Toned Sketch paper.

The Art Business Innovation Award recognizes individuals and businesses that innovate in the art materials industry and is sponsored by the International Art Materials Trade Association (NAMTA) and Hart Business Research. 

Strathmore Artist Papers developed 400 Series Toned Sketch paper after discovering a number of frustrated artists in search of a particular paper and sketchbook that did not exist.  Working with artists to develop the new grades of paper, Strathmore introduced 400 Series Toned Tan and Gray Sketch paper in pads, hardbound art journals and fine art rolls.

Strathmore Artist Papers was the winner of the Business Innovation Award in 2011 for our Online Workshop Series and in 2010 for Visual Journals.
