Sheet Music Art on Bristol Paper
We love seeing the fun, unique and creative things artists do with our papers and Artist Ursula Doughty's sheet music pieces are no exception.
She uses our 300 Series Bristol Smooth as a base to print purchased sheet music from different animated movies. Then she uses colored pencils to draw characters on top. Our 300 Series Bristol paper is a heavyweight sheet that is ideal for colored pencil and other dry media, so it's a great choice for this application. It is 100lb (270gsm) and available in pads, sheets and rolls.
Take a look at Ursula's beautiful sheet music art creations:
When Ursula isn't working on our Bristol paper she likes to use colored pencil on our 400 Series Toned Tan Paper. She says she loves the way the pencil shines on it. Our 400 Series Toned Tan Paper is a 100% recycled sheet made with 30% post-consumer fiber. It is 80lb (118gsm) and has a fine tooth drawing surface. It is available in a number of sizes and formats including wire bound pads, hardbound and softcover art journals, greeting cards, rolls, full sized-sheets, and Artist Tiles.
Ursula is a self-taught artist living and working in Austria. She is a mother of two whose been drawing for years and now works mainly in colored pencils. See more of her awesome artwork on her Instagram page.
