Created with Plein Air Painters and Urban Sketchers in mind, the NEW Travel Series is designed to meet the needs of on-location artists.
Made with high quality, 100% cotton watercolor paper, the Travel Series is perfect for the artist who is looking for a tough and resilient surface for scrubbing, scraping and other rough techniques.
The series offers both pads and journals in convenient portable sizes and formats, providing users with more artistic freedom. Each pad contains 12 sheets of 140lb cold press watercolor paper, and each journal contains 20 pages.
URBAN SKETCHERS
The journals and 3"x9" pads are perfect for urban sketchers. Journals come in 5.5"x8" and 7"x10" portable sizes and feature a soft silicone band to keep them secured inside bags and backpacks. The saddle stitching is a complementary aqua color, and the journals have rounded corners.
The 3"x9" pad is fitting for landscapes and scenery that require a long format. After we recently released a 3"x9" sketch pad, we got many requests for the same size in a watercolor paper, which is now available.
PLEIN AIR PAINTERS
Strathmore Watercolor Travel Pads are well-suited for plein air painting because of their appealing and portable sizes. The paper is glue bound into the pads, making for clean and easy sheet removal.
